These terms govern your membership in The Black Notebook Club, operated by George Perrin Coaching.
1. The Service
The Black Notebook Club offers:
- Monthly coach-facilitated productivity sessions (60 minutes)
- Two session time slots per month
- Between-session support: Margin Prompts (Monday), Page Roulette (Wednesday), Tiny Wins (Friday)
- Access to the Circle community platform
- The PAPER Method™ framework and session templates
2. Membership & Pricing
Monthly Membership:
- Standard monthly rate (pricing available on our website)
- Founding 50 early-bird pricing (if applicable)
- Drop-in trial option available
Payment Terms:
- Monthly payments are processed automatically through Paperbell
- Prices are in GBP (£)
- All prices include applicable taxes
3. Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel at any time:
- Cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged
- No refunds for partial months
- Access continues until the end of your paid period
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel memberships for breach of community guidelines
- Refund on a case-by-case basis at our discretion
4. Session Attendance
- Sessions are limited to registered members
- Two monthly time slots available — attend the one that works for you
- Sessions are not recorded to maintain confidentiality and presence
- If you miss a session, between-session emails keep you connected
5. Community Guidelines
The Black Notebook Club is a safe, confidential space. We ask that you:
- Respect confidentiality — what's shared in sessions stays in sessions
- Show up ready to engage (camera on when possible, margin visible)
- Support your buddy partner with gentle accountability
- Keep the focus on productivity and creative practice, not therapy
- Be kind, curious, and committed to your own growth
Unacceptable behaviour includes:
- Sharing others' personal information outside the group
- Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful conduct
- Using the community for commercial solicitation
- Attending sessions under the influence
6. Intellectual Property
Our Content:
- The PAPER Method™, session materials, and templates remain the property of George Perrin Coaching
- You may use materials for personal productivity purposes only
- Commercial use or redistribution is not permitted without written permission
Your Content:
- You retain ownership of your notes, reflections, and contributions
- By participating in the Circle community, you grant us permission to display your posts within the platform
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Black Notebook Club provides coaching and productivity support, not therapy or mental health treatment.
We make no guarantees about:
- Specific productivity outcomes
- Professional success resulting from participation
- Compatibility with all participants
Our liability is limited to:
- The amount you've paid for membership in the current month
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
8. Technical Requirements
You'll need:
- Reliable internet connection
- Device for video sessions (Zoom or Google Meet compatible)
- Email address for between-session prompts
- Access to the Circle platform
- Analogue materials: notebook, pen, timer
9. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify session formats, timing, or content
- Update pricing with 30 days' notice for existing members
- Add or remove features from the service
We'll communicate significant changes via email.
10. Termination
We may terminate your membership if:
- You breach these terms or community guidelines
- You engage in behaviour harmful to other members
- Payment fails repeatedly
You'll receive notice and an opportunity to address issues when appropriate.
11. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern:
- Contact george@george-perrin.com first — we'll work to resolve it
- If unresolved, disputes are governed by UK law
- Jurisdiction lies with the courts of England and Wales
12. Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and George Perrin Coaching regarding The Black Notebook Club.
